Description
Deutsch: Tornesch, Abschiedshaus Siemsen - Hamburger Str. 10 - ehemals Kulturdenkmal - Foto 2008

English: Tornesch, farewell house Siemsen - Hamburger Str. 10 - formerly cultural monument - photo 2008
- The reed covered “Fachhallenhaus” (Northern-German type of farmhouse) was built in 1810. Although it was registered as a cultural monument, it was canceled in 2013. It was the farewell house (house of the old farmer) of the older Jürgen Siemsen, one of the two farewell houses of the Tornescher Hof. The following inscription was preserved on the house beam above the bricked-up barn door:
- Wer Gott vertrut hat wol gebaut – im Himmel und auf Erden – Jürgen Siemsen – Anna Catrina Siemsen – Anno 1810 – den 2. Juni
- Parts of the interior (paneled wall with alcove) are exhibited in the museum Mölln-Hof.
